UPCOMING BOARD MEETINGS:
 
Special Board Meeting: The Board of Education will hold a special board meeting on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 5:00PM for the purpose of setting a hearing regarding the placement of Rene Sherwood on unpaid medical leave under Ohio Revised Code Section 3319.13.  The meeting will take place at the District Office located at 307 West High Street in McArthur. 
 
Regular Board Meeting, April 20, 2026 6:30PM.  The meeting will take place at Central Elementary, located at 
507 Jefferson Avenue.
 
**Upon request to the Superintendent, the District shall make reasonable accommodations for a disabled person to be able to participate in this activity.**

*Ms. Strausbaugh began her service to the Board of Education on April 5, 2001 filling a vacancy left by previous Board Member Maxine Wells. Ms. Strausbaugh completed the remainder of the term until December 31, 2001. She was re-elected and served her first full term between January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2005. On December 12, 2016, Ms. Strausbaugh returned to the Board of Education filling another vacancy left by previous Board Member Terri Price. Winning re-election in 2017, she is now serving another term of service to the Board of Education which expires December 31, 2024. Ms. Strausbaugh currently serves as Vice-President of the Board.
