Scholarships Currently Available
All Seniors will receive scholarship information via school email accounts throughtout the year so please remind your senior to check their email regularly. Scholarship due dates are updated as they are received from the scholarship sponsors.
NATIONAL SERVICE ACADEMY NOMINATION PROGRAM- If you wish to attend a military academy such as West Point, the Air Force Academy, or the U.S. Naval Academy, you must be sponsored by a U.S. Senator. Your senator for contact is Sherrod Brown. The application for sponsorship should be filled out in spring of your junior year but applications can be submitted as a senior. Applications can be requested from Senator Jon Husted. You may also apply with your Congressman, Senators, Vice President or President. Applications can be found on their websites. Information among these offices is not shared so the candidate is responsible for maintaining files at each office to which he/she makes application. Application deadline is SEPTEMBER 18, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.
QUEST BRIDGE NATIONAL COLLEGE MATCH- This is a nationally recognized nonprofit that connects high-achieving, low-income students to full four-year scholarships at the nation's best colleges. Applicants should excel academically and exhibit strong personal character (rank in the top 5-10% and have a minimum ACT of 28) and should have an annual household income of less than $65,000/year. MIAMI UNIVERSITY BRIDGES PROGRAM- This program is offered to high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who have followed a college prep curriculum and demonstrate leadership/ co-curricular involvement. Completion of the overnight program results in a waiver of the $50 application fee for admission to Miami University as well as a $2,500 to full tuition, four- year renewable scholarship to Miami if they are accepted for Fall 2025. (Students who have a family income of $35,000 or less may qualify for full tuition assistance)

COCA COLA SCHOLARS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any current senior who has a minimum GPA of 3.0 and will be attending a post-secondary institution in the fall of 2025. Application deadline is September 30, 2025. Apply online at http://coca-colascholars.org
OHIO EDUCATION AND TRAINING VOUCHER PROGRAM- This is a federally-funded, state-administered program designed to help youth who were in the US foster care system. Students may receive up to $5,000/year for qualified school related expenses. To qualify you must be a current or former foster student who: 1) was in U.S. foster care on your 18th birthday and aged out at that time or 2) Was in foster care, legal custody or guardianship to a kinship caregiver at or after age 16 or 3) Was adopted from US foster care at age 16 or older or 4) Will have your foster care case closed between the ages of 18 and 21. THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY- Deadline for application with consideration for Merit-Based Scholarships and The Land Grant/ Morrill Scholarship is November 1, 2025. (This is the early consideration deadline and is recommended by OSU that you complete applications by this date for best opportunities.)
MORRILL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (OSU)- Applicants should be academically exceptional high school seniors who will contribute to campus diversity and actively engage as advocates and champions of diversity, inclusion and academic excellence on campus. To apply, indicate your interest in the MSP on the OSU application for admission and complete the MSP essay. Be sure to include leadership and diversity involvement on the Activity List. Deadline for application for this and any other university merit-based scholarships is November 1, 2025. This is a hard deadline so there is no flexibility to this.
ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS- The Elks National Foundation is offering the 2026 Most Valuable Student Scholarship Contest. This scholarship is both a local and a national scholarship meaning that applicants compete locally through the local Elks Lodge and then nationally. The applications can be found online at http://enf.elks.org/mvs. Application deadline is November 12, 2025. Applications will require the local post number which is Jackson #466.
Dr. James H. and Nellie Rowley Jewell Cutler Scholar Award at Ohio University- This is a full scholarship, renewable annually, available to students from Meigs and Vinton Counties. The recipient receives a full academic scholarship per year, as well as $3,000 each year to support a series of four individually- designed extracurricular experiences: an outdoor leadership experience (summer before beginning at OU), public service internship, professional internship, and work or study abroad experience. The Jewell Cutler Scholar Award is part of the Cutler Scholars Program. All seniors from Vinton County High School are eligible to apply. Applicants are selected based on the following criteria: intellectual curiosity, civic responsibility, leadership and character. There is no GPA or ACT criteria (successful applicants have historically possessed a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or greater). Students can access the Cutler Scholars instructions for application and FAQs online at http://cutlerscholars.org/become-a-cutler-scholarbut should use the Common Application (to be considered please indicate that it is your intention to apply for the Cutler Scholars Program) to apply and submit the required components. The application requires an activity list or a resume, one letter of recommendation, and a response to the Cutler Scholars short answer question in the writing supplement section of the Common Application. You are also required to respond to either the Common App essay prompts or the Ohio University optional essay. We also request a counselor's evaluation of applicants' academic achievement and involvement as compared to other students at VCHS. Application deadline is November 15, 2025 .
All items-including completed application forms, high school transcript, and any applicable test scores must be received by that date.

HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to current seniors who have a minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher. You must be enrolling at an eligible four year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation and must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year of college. You must have a completed FAFSA with an SAR of less than $6,500. Application deadline is March 15, 2026 and can be completed at www.hsfmo.org
10 WORDS OR LESS SCHOLARSHIP-This scholarship is available to anyone who is between the ages of 14-25 who is enrolled in school by September 2023. Applications can be found at

OEA Members- If your parent is a member of the Ohio Education Association, you can get an associate degree for free through an online program. The program is through an accredited university and is completely online. If you would like more information on this, go to the OEA website at https://freecollege.ohea.org/
Union Plus Education Benefits- Check out the link https://www.unionplus.org/benefits/education/free-college for information about free online associate degree programs offered by many unions including AFSCME. The classes are online and free to member's families. The classes are through Eastern Gateway Community College who is partnered with Kent State University.
HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to juniors/seniors who have financial need and who have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Must be graduating this year and be planning to pursue a bachelor's degree. Students can apply online at https://scholars.horatioalger.org/scholarships/. Deadline for application is February 15, 2026 for seniors/March 1, 2026 for juniors. There is a counselor portion that must be completed online so if you apply, be sure to let guidance know to watch for the email.

MIAMI UNIVERSITY GOVERNOR'S SCHOLARSHIP- This is a full tuition and fees scholarship that will be awarded to a top scholar from each of Ohio's 88 counties. To be eligible for this scholarship you must apply to the university by December 1, 2025.
CINCINNATUS Scholarship Program- If you are interested in attending University of Cincinnati, their scholarship program Cincinnatus XXI has a deadline quickly approaching. In order to be eligible for their scholarship program you must have applied for admission to the university by DECEMBER 1ST. For an application to be considered complete, it must have the application, transcript and test scores (they have to be sent directly from ACT or SAT).
DISTRICT COUNSELOR'S SCHOLARSHIP (URG)- This scholarship is for full tuition for four years at the University of Rio Grande. Applicants must attend a high school in the four county service district of Jackson, Gallia, Meigs, and Vinton (including Buckeye Hills). A minimum GPA of 3.2 and a minimum ACT score of 21 is required of applicants. Please submit applications and all required documents to guidance prior to December 1, 2025 so that she can have them to Michelle Kennedy at URG by the December 1 deadline. Applications can be found on this site or in the guidance office. You may also complete the application online.
SOUTHEAST REGION EDUCATION BOOK GRANT- This scholarship is available to a graduating senior currently enrolled in a school district in the Southeast Region of the Ohio School Boards Association and plan to major in education or work with children. Must attend an accredited college or university, career-technical school or technical college in the state of Ohio. Applicant must have a 3.0 minimum GPA and proof of ACT/SAT scores. The application is available at https://osba.link/MockGrantApplication . The deadline for applications is Dec. 1. Application deadline is December 1, 2025.
JAKE BAPST SCHOLARSHIP (URG)- This scholarship is for full tuition for two years at the University of Rio Grande. Applicants must attend high school in the four county service district of Jackson, Gallia, Meigs, and Vinton (including Buckeye Hills). One student will be chosen from each high school. Applications can be returned to Mrs. Rippeth who will then forward them on to URG. Application deadline to URG is January 16, 2026. Applications can be found on this site or in the guidance office.
REDSTORM SCHOLARSHIP- There are more than 300 scholarships available. These are renewable and vary in amounts awarded. To apply complete the online application on the University of Rio Grande Financial Aid page. It is a short form with no essay requirement. BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY- In order to be eligible for the top scholarships at Bowling Green, they must have received your admissions application by December 1, 2025. In order to be eligible for any freshmen scholarship consideration, applications must be received no later than January 15, 2026. LAND GRANT OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP FOR OHIO RESIDENTS (OSU)-This scholarship is awarded to at least two student from each of Ohio's 88 counties. Those selected demonstrate both academic merit and financial need. This is a full-tuition scholarship. Ohio residents who apply to the university by November 1, 2025 and file the FAFSA by November 1, 2025 will automatically be considered.
WELLER SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any senior at VCHS who will be attending ANY college or to a current student at the University of Rio Grande who is a graduate of VCHS. BELLISIO FOODS SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to children and grandchildren of Bellisio Foods employees. Students can apply online at https://appalachianohio.org/grow/scholarships/scholarship-opportunities/bellisio-foods-scholarships-fund/

GE REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP-This scholarship program will award 20 college bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships. Applications will be accepted online on The Ronald Reagan Presidential website. OHIO WAR ORPHAN AND SEVERELY DISABLED VETERANS’ CHILDREN SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to a student who is an Ohio resident and enrolled full-time as an undergraduate and pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree at an eligible Ohio college or university. Applicants must be between 16 and 24. Applicants must be the children of deceased or severely disabled Ohio veterans who served in the armed forces during a period of declared war or conflict. Students who receive the scholarship will get 100% of tuition and general fees awarded if they attend an Ohio public institution. Students must apply by May 15, 2026 to be considered. OHIO JCI SENATE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION- This scholarship is based on three categories. Category 1 is academic based. Category 2 is need based. Category 3 is vocational based. Applications have been sent to student email accounts. The application is also posted on this site. Application deadline is January 17, 2026.
Bezos Scholars Program- This scholarship opportunity is for current juniors. It is a year long leadership development program that aims to amplify youth voice and action. The scholarship program provides an opportunities to travel free of charge within and outside of the US. For more information on this program go towww.bezosscholars.org/lead. Application deadline is January 21, 2026.
NEALP (NURSE EDUCATION ASSISTANCE LOAN PROGRAM)- This program provides financial assistance to Ohio students enrolled for at least half-time study in an approved Ohio nurse education program. This is a loan but after 5 years of employment as a nurse in Ohio, the loan is forgiven. You must be pursuing an RN or higher to qualify. AFROTC HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM- This scholarship is available to seniors who have interest in the ROTC officer training program at a university. Applicants need to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and an ACT minimum of 26 (SAT 1180). Application deadline is December 12, 2025. Apply online atafrotc.com/scholarships/high-school/application
ENGINEERS FOUNDATION OF OHIO COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP- Applicants must be a graduating high school senior with at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must also have a minimum ACT scores of a 29 in Math and a 25 in English or minimum SAT scores of a 600 in Math and a 500 in Reading or Composition. Applications can be found on this site under forms or outside of the guidance office. PAVE ESSAY CONTEST SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to Juniors and Seniors from Athens and Vinton Counties. Information on the scholarship can be found in student email accounts. Application deadline is February 28, 2026.
OACAC CHARLES L. WARREN MEMORIAL HERITAGE SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to seniors of OACAC member high schools. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in a CP curriculum and be attending an Ohio college or university in the fall of 2020. Applicants need to demonstrate and show a continued commitment to cultural and intellectual diversity. SOUTH CENTRAL POWER COMPANY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS- These scholarships are available to high school seniors and are given to four different groups of students: Academic Excellence, Leadership Scholarship, Community Scholarship and Career-Technical Scholarship. JESSE D. PATTERSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to a senior student at VCHS who has had the traumatic event of losing a parent however if no student qualifies with this, the scholarship will be awarded to the most deserving student who applies. Applications have been emailed to senior school email accounts but are also available in the guidance office or on this site. Application deadline is February 2, 2026
The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) offers scholarship opportunities for students in Appalachian Ohio. These scholarships are donor-established, but are managed by this foundation. There is a common application for all of the scholarships that they offer. Some of the ones that apply to our students include the AK Steel Foundation Student Scholastic Award for Science, Technology, Math and Engineering, The Ora E. Anderson Scholarship, The Ariana R. Ulloa Scholarship, The Bob Evans and Wayne F. White Legacy Scholarship, and the Bellisio Foods Scholarship. OHIO ASSOCIATION OF PUBLIC SCHOOL EMPLOYEES (OAPSE/AFSCME) MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION PROGRAM- This scholarship is available to any graduating senior whose parent or legal guardian is a member in good standing of OAPSE/AFSCME Local 4/AFL-CIO and who intends to enroll in a full-time degree program in any 2 or 4 year accredited university, college, business, or technical school. HOMELAND CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP- Applicants must be a member or a dependent of a member of the credit union, a high school senior with a minimum GPA of 2.5, and plan to enter college as a full-time student at a two or four year college or university. Ohio Natural Energy Foundation Scholarships-Applicants must have a career goal in the crude oil and natural gas industry, be an Ohio resident and have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. Applications can be found at OhioNaturalEnergy.org/scholarships or on this website. Application deadline is March 1, 2026.
THE GRAND LODGE OF FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF OHIO (STATE LEVEL)- This scholarship is available to any high school senior at Vinton County High School or BHCC student from Vinton County. Applications are available on this site and have been sent to student email accounts. Application deadline is to school counselor by February 27, 2026 by 12:00 so that it can be passed on to the appropriate Mason by March 1.
VINTON COUNTY NATIONAL BANK ACORD AWARD- This scholarship is available to current seniors who attend high school in one of the following counties: Fairfield, Franklin, Hocking, Jackson, Licking, Pickaway, Ross and Vinton. You do not have to be a VCNB account holder to be eligible. Application deadline is March 15, 2026. PAUL HOGAN CHARITABLE TRUST SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to current seniors who are attending VCHS or are VC students at Buckeye Hills Career Center and will be attending a college, university, or accredited trade school program in the Fall. Application deadline is March 31, 2026. Applications should be mailed to the address listed on the application form. Applications can be found in Guidance or on this site.
The Harold V. Felton and Ferne R. Felton Scholarship- There are two scholarships that will be awarded. One will be for a graduate who will major in the field of Elementary Education. The other award will be for a graduate who will major in the field of Secondary Education (7-12). You must be a current senior who is attending VCHS and must have attended for at least two or more years. You also must be attending a college or university within the state of Ohio. Application deadline will be announced and should be returned to the address listed on the application. You can pick up the application information outside of Guidance or find it on this site. Application deadline is March 15, 2026.
JACKSON ELKS LODGE #466 SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any senior who has a parent/guardian or grandparent who is a member of the Jackson Elks Lodge. Applications are available outside of the guidance office and have been emailed to senior email accounts. They are also available on this website under downloadable files. Application deadline is March 31, 2026 and should be emailed to the email address on the application.
TABSTRONG SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any VCHS senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must be planning to attend a 2 or 4 year technical school, college or university. In order to apply you will need to submit a 1-2 page essay about someone in your life that is the epitome of the word "strength". Essay should include your name, email address, phone number and address. Essays need to be turned in to guidance by April 1, 2026.
THE HOPE FOR OUR FUTURE SCHOLARSHIP - This scholarship is made possible by Adena Health and is available to any senior who will pursue a career in any course of study related to the operation of a health system. The applications can be completed online beginning on December 1 at adena.org/scholarships and need to be submitted by April 10, 2026 by 4:00p.m.

HARRY B. CREWSON FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP (OU)-This scholarship is available to those seniors who are members of the Ohio University Credit Union whose parents are members. You must be attending OU as a first-year student and demonstrate excellence in community activities and/or talent areas in addition to academic achievement in high school. OUCU HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to incoming first-year students attending an institution of higher education other than Ohio University, who have demonstrated excellence in community activities and/or talent areas in addition to academic achievements. You must be a member of the OUCU Financial (Credit Union) or be a child of a member. Applications can be found at www.oucu.org/scholarships Application deadline is April 1, 2026.
MCARTHUR BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is for any senior who attends VCHS or Buckeye Hills. The scholarship application has been emailed to your school email address and also posted on this site. I will have paper copies available outside my office. Application deadline is March 31, 2026 by 4:00 p.m. and should be mailed to the address on the application.
AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY DISTRICT SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to students pursuing careers in Welding, Welding Technology, and Welding Engineering. There are scholarships available through the Columbus Section of the AWS and the AWS District 7 (regional). Applications can be completed at https://scholarship.aws.org Application deadline is March 1, 2026.
THE DAVID GREGORY GILL SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any senior at VCHS who has a minimum GPA of 3.0 and will be majoring in EDUCATION. Applications can be found on this site or in the guidance office. Application deadline will be announced and should be returned to guidance via the common application google form due on February 27, 2026.
THE GILL FAMILY SCHOLARSHIPS- This scholarship is available to any VCHS senior planning to pursue an associate degree in a public safety field such as Emergency Medical, Firefighting or Law Enforcement or who will be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Science or the Medical Field. Applications can be found on this site, in senior email accounts or outside of the guidance office. Application deadline is February 27, 2026.
DELTA LODGE 207 FREE AND ACCEPTED MASONS OF OHIO SCHOLARSHIPS-These scholarships are available to any VCHS senior who will be attending a 2-4 year university or approved adult education program in the Fall. Applications can be found on this site, in student email accounts or outside of guidance. Completed applications should be returned to Mrs. Rippeth. Application deadline is March 27, 2026.
ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR SERENO CHAPTER 128 SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any VCHS senior who will be attending a 2 or 4 year university or approved adult education program in the Fall of 2025. Applications can be found on this site or outside of guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance. Application deadline is April 1, 2026.
BCR SCHOLARSHIPS- Buckeye Construction and Restoration will award 2 scholarships to any VCHS senior who has a minimum GPA of 2.5. Field of study must be construction related. Application deadline is March 27, 2026. Applications are available on this site and have been sent to senior email accounts.
ATOMIC CREDIT UNION SCHOLARSHIP-This scholarship is available to current high school seniors who have an account with the credit union no later than December 31st, 2025. Students must also have plans to attend an accredited school of higher education during the summer or fall of 2026. VFW AUXILIARY POST 5299 SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to current seniors at VCHS. Preference will be given to those applicants who have family with affiliations to the VFW, although it is not a requirement for application. Applications can be found on this site or in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance. Deadline is the Second Friday in April 2026
RITTON FAMILY FOUNDATION-This scholarship is available to any high school senior who plans to attend college, university or trade school in the fall. This scholarship is intended to help students who want to build a better life but may lack the needed resources to do so. Applications are available on this site or outside of the guidance office. Applications have also been sent to senior email accounts. Application deadline is April 15, 2026
DAVID V. STIVISON APPALACHIAN COMMUNITY ACTION SCHOLARSHIP FUND- This scholarship is sponsored by the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development. Applicants must be a resident of the 30 county COAD service area for at least one year prior to the application deadline, reside in a household with a total annual income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, have obtained or will obtain a high school diploma or GED, and show proof of acceptance into an accredited 2 or 4-year institution of higher education. Applications and the deadline can be found at www.coadinc.org/scholarships. Copies can also be picked up in guidance. Application deadline is May 1, 2026.
One recipient from each county within the service area will be selected, so someone from Vinton County will receive this if they apply.

BUCKEYE RURAL CHILDREN OF MEMBER'S SCHOLARSHIPS- Applicants for these scholarships must be graduating seniors who will be attending a college or adult vocational school in the fall. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and must be the child or legal ward of a permanent residential electric cooperative member receiving service for the duration of the 23-24 school year. Applications are available at https://buckeyerec.coop/index.php/scholarships/ . Application deadline is February 23, 2026.
JACKSON-VINTON FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP- Available to seniors to help with college incurred expenses such as books or tuition. For information and to complete the application check your school email account. The application was included in an email sent on January 21st. Application deadline is March 31, 2026 and can only be completed online. The link was sent to student email.
SCIOTO VALLEY REALTORS SCHOLARSHIP- Available to seniors who have a GPA or 2.5 or greater. Applications have been sent to student emails and are also available for download on this site. If students would prefer a paper copy, they can be picked up outside of the guidance office. Application deadline is March 25, 2026
THE CRUSADERS OF CODY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to any senior who has been impacted by addiction in some way. This scholarship can be used for college/university or an adult education program. Applications are available on this site or outside of the guidance office. Application deadline is March 31, 2026 and should be returned to Mrs. Rippeth.
CARY AND JODI GLAY SCHOLARSHIP-This scholarship is available to a senior graduating from VCHS who has a minimum GPA of 3.0, has been accepted into a 2- or 4- year college or technical school. Applicants should be involved in extra-curricular activities and/or work part-time. This is a $1000 scholarship that will be renewable for the time you are pursuing your degree and meet the requirements for renewal. Applications have been sent to your email accounts, are on this site and are outside of the guidance office. Completed applications are to be returned to Mrs. Rippeth by March 31, 2026.
EAGLES LADIES AUXILIARY #2279 SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to graduating seniors of VCHS who have a mother or grandmother who is a member in good standing (for at least one year) of the Eagles Auxiliary #2279. Applications can be obtained from this site or outside of the guidance. Applications should be mailed to the address on the application by that date by April 10th, 2026.
TC ENERGY SCHOLARSHIPS- This scholarship is available to any senior enrolled in a post-secondary institution in the upcoming academic year who is a citizen or permanent resident of the US and is near a TC Energy operations or project. Applications are online and can be found at https://www.tcenergy.com/scholarships Application deadline is May 1, 2026.
VFW POST 5299 SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to current seniors at VCHS. Preference will be given to those applicants who have family with affiliations to the VFW, although it is not a requirement for application. Applications can be found on this site or in guidance. Completed applications should be returned to guidance. Deadline is March 31, 2026
SHRIVER'S PHARMACIES SCHOLARSHIP/ COLER HEALTHCARE-These scholarships are available to VCHS seniors who will be pursuing a degree in Pharmacy or for students pursuing degrees in the medical field. Neva Diane and Boone Eli Woltz Memorial Scholarship- There are no requirements for this application but you must complete the application and mail it to the address on the application by April 1, 2026.The application is available on this site and has been sent to your emails as well. There will be paper copies available on the wall outside of guidance.

FISCHER FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to current VCHS seniors with proven academic ability in a content area. Emphasis will be placed on academic ability, moral character, and financial need. Preference will be given to those students who reside in Zaleski. Application deadline will be announced. NELLE L. FISCHER MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to current VCHS seniors who have a proven music ability in piano, voice or a musical instrument in orchestra or band. Preference will be given to those seniors who reside in Zaleski. Applications are available on this site or in guidance. Application deadline will be April 10, 2026.
VINTON COUNTY CATTLEMEN'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP- This scholarship is available to Vinton County residents who have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA in high school. Students should demonstrate an agricultural background and/or involvement in 4-H. Consideration will be given toward the participation of the student in civic and co-curricular activities. Preference will be given to those applicants pursuing a degrees in Math, Technology, Agriculture, or Environmental Science. Applications can be found on this site or in guidance. Application deadline will be announced and should be returned to guidance, or the address listed on the application.
