Welcome to South Elementary! At South, we take pride in the close-knit partnership we’ve built around learning. Students, families, and staff all work together to help nurture and support the growing child. We aim to establish a solid educational foundation for students, enabling them to thrive both academically and personally.

My name is Danna Peters, and I’m pleased to introduce myself as the new principal of South Elementary. It’s truly an honor to join this school community. With 15 years of experience in education, I understand the importance of creating a school environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged to do their best each day.

As principal, I will focus on continuing the excellent work already established by the dedicated staff at South, while also identifying new opportunities for growth and improvement.
