The Vinton County Local Schools will be doing a coordinated districtwide lockdown drill on Thursday, September 17th. All buildings will participate in this drill. This is an important part of our districtwide safety planning and will better prepare our staff and students to react to an emergency situation. We will be working with our safety resource officers and our sheriff’s department to complete a safe and effective exercise.
